Cant Screw the GPU in the Case !

UPDATE , FIXED
so i drilled in the case hole with a tiny drill ; you need to becareful and now it can screw in ! just try to make a bigger hole ,

problem: ( used to be )
So i bought a new case , i used to have a normal case , now i bought a gamer case
so everything was fine , i tried to screw the gpu in , but the screw keep sliding when try to screw it in
tried bigger screw , wont fit
tried smaller screw , it falls
anyone help ?

I can think of two good ways to do this...and then there half assed ways.

Normally those screws are sized 6-32 (I think). It sounds like the threads are stripped in the hole.

What you could do is use an 8-32 tap (2-3$ item) and run it down the hole and use an 8-32 screw.

Another option would be to go with a nut on the 6-32, if there room for a nut (there may not be).

The half assed option would be to go with some sort of self tapping screw.

Another thing is....in many cases, you don't need that screw. I've run for years without screws. I'm not recommending it. I'm just saying...you can....it's possible....and it's worked for me.

Okay man i'll give it a try ,
without screws is my last option , maybe i'll use a wire or somthing lol

If you can't find a proper screw, try a small cable tie (zip tie), should stay in well, just make sure it's tight and the card isn't causing any stress or warp to the slot.

When you do whatever you do....just remember...it just needs to be held in place....nothing major.

They stay in place pretty well without the screws....but I would advise "something"....a little zip tie....or anything like that.
