Hi, I hope someone can help me out please!!
I pretty sure I need to update my Bios.
In the Bios, Tools I can only see boot by OS.
There no EZ Flash there!!
The Bios is at Ver1 0806 right now.
I put in E6700 to up-grade as I changed for from 32bit to 64bit Windows 7.

So how do I update Bios??
I have a Asus P5B Mb
Intel Core 2 E6300
1.86Mhz
6GB RAM
Nvidia GE 9500
500GB Hard Drive.
Any help would be great thanks!!

Yes, was looking at the maual I got.
I don't have a floppy either and looks like the Atl + F2 isn't working.
I read somewhere to stay away from Asus Update using Windows!!
This is frustrating!!
Not sure what to do now but thanks for your help!! Don.

Thank you every one for your help!!
Alexoiu your suggestion to flash the bios with AFUDOS did the trick.
It took a bit of sorting out but I got it!
Also the EZ Flash is now showing up in Tools!

If I could explain it may help some else!

My MB had never been flashed and there was certain applications missing
eg, no EZ Flash setup in bios, no AFUDOS setup.

Download (AFUDOS version that matches your MB) It's MSDOS setup application
Download (BIOS version that matches your MB)
Extracted both into the root dir of the USB.
Change the name of the BIOS to something like NEWBIOS, no more than
8 letters.

I had a problem getting USB to run in Quick BootUp but I found a way around that.

I downloaded RUFUS, rufus.akeo.ie, set it up, click Run and it found the files in the USB.
Make sure that AFUDOS application and the BIOS.ROM files are outside of the their folders.
BIOS didn't recongise it first time round.
Restart and press F8, click on USB,
When in the CMD, you will see either :A/> or :C/>
Put in : for example :C/>dir then Enter
It will show all bits about your BIOS old and new.

The first and most Important thing is to backup your old BIOS.

Put in example; :C/>AFU236U/oOLDBIOS.ROM
Enter, it will make a backup to your USB incase anything went wrong
when Flashing BIOS.
Put in :C/>AFU236U/iNEWBIOS.ROM
Enter and let do its thing.
If all is well it should start to Flash the BIOS!
Important do not touch/switch off the pc until it tells you to!!
When it's finished restart and enter your BIOS setup and see if it has updated to a new BIOS
That's it.
I hope that helps anyone who might have to Flash BIOS through AFUDOS.
This was at 3am last night but I'm happy.

Thanks.
