Question Cant see my usb stick in bios boot options

Hi,

I'm trying to install Windows 10 from a usb stick but I cant see the usb stick in bios. Windows itself detects it as I created a bootable usb from the microsoft website.

my MB is a Z270X- gaming 7

its a usb 3 stick I'm using but I have tried other usbs and have the same issue. I've googles various bios setting to no avail.

I have version F8 bio firmware.


Any ideas?

Are you plugging in the usbs before booting? And have you tried other slots?

In your BIOS setting try changing the Boot Mode to "CSM" or "Legacy" instead of "UEFI"

I tried all my usb sockets till I found one that worked, that's me got Windows 10 installed so all good.
