I have a HP 15-db0005DX laptop that came with a 128gb m2 ss hd and I installed a samesung evo 850 sata ss hd from my old laptop and at first both did not show up but I did something and both showed up. Now I have replaced the 128gb with a new samsung evo 860 m2 ss hd and now I can't get the old sata ss to show up. I used windows 10 media creator to do clean reinstall of win 10 on the 860 m2 and the old sata I was just using for storage. I had tried to do a clean install on the 850 before with media creator and it worked but twice it quit and I cn get it repaired so I decided to just use it as storage which is fine since both are 500gb. How do I make to old 850 sata visable again, I stored alot of info on it. I updated to the new 500gb ma so I could do a dual boot with Linux since I've been having so many problems with Windows 10.
Thanks, Mike

Also I was told I had to stay with an m2 sata which is what it came with, and not the newer PVe?? format but someone said some can be upgraded to the newer faster ones. Thanks, Mike
