Hey all!
Having a bit of a problem with my new RAM (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B085SNZQTJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zUEdFbXAX68K6) after upgrading from standard Corsair Vengeance (2x4GB)
In BIOS (Asrock B250M-HDV MOBO) I'm not getting a drop down tab to change the XMP from auto, to well, an XMP profile! Shown here: View: https://imgur.com/gallery/KFEub6r
With my old RAM there was an extra tab which I just set to an XMP profile and changed the frequency from 2400 I think it was, to 3200mhz. My current RAM can run at 3600, but currently won't get above 2400, presumably because I need to enable an XMP.
It might be worth noting I've recently done a Windows reinstall because I'd been having some BSOD and game stuttering issues that could potentially be to do with the new RAM. Still troubleshooting that to see if the problem has been sorted, just thought I'd mention though.
Apologies if I'm being a bit blind and have overlooked something obvious, it's been a long couple of days adding new components and troubleshooting!
Thanks for taking a look
