Hi
I am trying to install a modded bios onto an ASUS MB from 2013, outfitted with UEFI BIOS. The BIOS that exists is the original BIOS vers, and is the latest avail.
It's not working, tho :/
I have the CAP file in the root dir. of a 4GB FAT32 USB FD, plugged it into the BIOS FB port. I pressed the BIOS FB button for three sec, it flashed a few times, and then went solid. And stayed solid for a long time.
Then I tried the current BIOS which I got form the ASUS site, making sure that the filename is what is in the manual. Same thing. It flashes a few times, and then goes solid. At least nothing bad is happening, as I can still boot.
I have tried reformatting the FD to FAT, but no go.
So first, can I do a flashback with the same vers that already exists? And secondly, any idea as to anything else I can try?
Thanks in advance.
