Can't seem to get freesync to work..

I have a 29WK500 which is a 2560x1080@75 (40-75 freesync) monitor and I cant seem to get smooth gameplay.

Iv'e tried capping my fps@ 73-75, using the in game framecap, and uncapping my fps and I still get tearing.

The only way I dont is by enabling Vsync which introduces input lag and defeats the point of even having freesync.

Am I doing something wrong?
