Yeah I'm trying to OC my q6600 to 3.4, I have a 780i mobo with 4 gigs of 1066 ram. Ive tried everything but cant seem to get it stable, it will boot fine but when i run prime 95 a core fails after about 20 min.... i went in and changed the reference clock to get it to 3.4 and upped many voltages, here they are...

CPU core= 1.5 ( high as i dare, i see other people getting 3.4 at lower Voltages so what gives?)

CPU FSB= 1.4
Memory=2.1 (OCZ dominator)
SPP= 1.45
MCP=1.525
SPP-MCP=1.25

Am i missing something or doing something stupid here??? Any help would be much appreciated.... Thank you.

weird I have q6600@3.4ghz with 1.4000vcore
1.9v on the memory and everything else left on auto
maybe its because i use asus p45 p5q se
they say intel chipsets r better overclockers

The P45 *is* an Intel Chipset. I think Scotteq and zenmaster have the right idea. You need to drop the memory multiplier because right now you're probably overclocking your memory more than it can handle.
