Hey Everyone.
I just installed a new graphics card. Went from the AMD Radeon RX580 to a GTX 1070. When I uninstalled the Radeon Software. The icon remains in the task bar.

I uninstalled the one that said "Radeon Software" from programs and features. But that icon remains. There's another program that says AMD software.

I'm leery of uninstalling that thinking maybe it's got something to do with my processor. Any clue how to get rid of that icon?

Thanks!

Hi.

Download DDU - https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

Run DDU and boot into safe mode.

While in safe mode run DDU and choose AMD to the right and click on "Clean and do not reboot". Switch to Nvidia and do "Clean and reboot".

After the reboot reinstall the Nvidia drivers and reboot.

You should not have anything AMD graphics related files left after that.
