cant send wifi from canon 400IF copier

client wants to wifi documents from copier, as above to laptop to send to friend.

I didn't see that this machine has a WiFi capability (just Ethernet). There's a way you can set up an FTP protocol so the printer can scan to the PC over the network, but you'd need to connect the printer to a Wireless router first. That, or just plug the printer directly into the PC or set up a file share to link it to the scanner.
