The specs:
Motherboard: MSI Z77A-G45
BIOS: Click BIOS 2
RAM: DDR3 CORSAIR Vengeance Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) CMY16GX3M2A1600C9R
The question:
On the RAM sticks it says 1600MHz, 9-9-9-24, 1.50V. I went to the BIOS and set the and latency and frequency to these values, but for some reason when I'm trying to set the DRAM voltage, it replaces 1.5 V with Auto. I can be on Auto and press - or + and it will go to 1.480 or 1.520 or something similar. I can type in any other value, but when I enter 1.5 or use -/+ to go to 1.5, it changes to Auto. When DRAM voltage is set to Auto, it sets it to 1.664 V.
My question is, should I just leave it at Auto and have the voltage at 1.664, and is it safe, or should I manually set the voltage to the closest value to 1.5, like 1.499 or 1.501 or whatever the BIOS lets me?
Thank you.
