Can't set my Benq XL2411Z to 144Hz

I have just upgraded to windows 10 as it has come out today and so all device settings have been put to default, my monitor is capable of being used at 144hz and when I go into my display settings it says it is set to 64Hz and does not give me the option to change it to 144Hz like it did on windows 8, I am very confused and need to know how I can change this.

Make sure you download the relevant GPU drivers from either Intel, AMD, or Nvidia's website, depending on whose GPU you have.

The drivers in Windows Update tend to be a little out of date.
