Can't set resolution to 1440x900

hey, so i got a new LG monitor today and it's working just fine, but i Can't set resolution it's to 1440x900. it wasnt in the settings panel, nor was it in the display adapter properties. Can someone tell me what to do?

My GPU- GTX 295

20mp48ab I'm quite sure. It's an IPS screen

Try clearing checkbox in Display adapter properties "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display".

Also you can define custom resolutions in Nvidia control panel.
