Question Can't set up dual channel ram

Hey guys i bought my 2070 not too long back and its been horrible honestly
I upgraded my ram as i though that could have been the problem, i now have 16gb of hyper fury x
I'm running a 6600k, people can say thats the bottleneck but it ran cs at 300fps with my 1080 and now im getting 70-120
In Squad im getting around 30fps
Insurgency 60
Running at 1440p
Even bought a new motherboard

I'm downloading speccy right now so will test and post results
This sucks so hard

In speccy its saying i only have single channel ram? I have 2x8 Hyper Fury X so why is it saying single channel?

I can't get it to go duel channel no matter what, iv tried different slot combinations but only work's if they are next to eachother if not it only picks up one 8gb stick

Click on the mem tab on CPUZ. It will tell you if it's in dual channel.

To get the ram to run at it's rated speed you need to set it in the bios to XMP/DOCP profile for the ram. Then it should run at it's rated speed. This is of course providing your motherboard supports OC'd ram.
