can't share folders in win19 1809

Hello
i have two desktop's with win 10- 1809, one was upgraded from 1803 and the second was installed from scratch with 1809.
i try to share folder from the one that was originally installed with the 1809 to the rest, they are at the same network under eset security and i get ping from both of them but still not see the folder/the desktop,
what else to check?

Yes the windows have removed the Home Network... If im right...
I use the Teamviewer.

You can absolutely still share folders between systems.

Check your Advanced network settings. Sometimes they get changed during an update.

Network Discovery - ON
File and print sharing - ON
Password protected sharing - OFF

Interesting. I just shared out a folder from my HTPC, and can access it no problem from my main system.
Both Win 10 Pro, both v1809.

what exactly did you do? and do you have there the eset (no problem with that i can disable it)

No, I don't use eset.

1. Right click the folder in question - Properties
2. Sharing tab
3. Share 'Everyone'
4. Settings
5. Network and Internet
6. Network and Sharing center
7. Advanced sharing settings
8. Network discovery ON (it was already)
9. file and print sharing ON (it was alread)
10. under All networks, turn OFF password protected sharing
11. Done

From my main PC, This PC, Network...the relevant PC and folder appears and is selectable/viewable/mappable.

Same procedures its always been.
