So when I start my PC I can see the windows sign in and can enter my password and it will load for a second and then show the log in screen again. (If enter the password incorrectly I get password incorrect). I have fast boot enabled and so I cannot enter my bios. When I tried shift+ restart I can see the options, but if select any of them including the reset option them I get a black screen and the pc gets stuck rebooting constantly until I press the power button which loads up the sign in screen again. It's possible the reason why it goes black screen is because the default for loading up the pc is done on my gpu rather than the mobo gpu. I want to be able just to reset my pc.

TlDR: can't sign in, can't access bios, can't access troubleshooter. Need to reset windows.

If you have any ideas or questions please comment.
Sorry for bad grammar.

That's strange. Maybe remove your gfx card, use onboard and power up/reset cmos again.
Unfortunately PC's can have quirky intermittent problems, just gotta keep trying.

I've had plenty of weird PC's over the years. One needed half a dozen power cycles before it booted after a power failure.
Current PC: wifi won't show any networks occasionally. Restart won't help. No display 20% of the time if I leave monitor on auto input.
I can only put up with that for gaming, Mac's for study and work.
So I pressed the reset CMOS button on the on my mobo however still nothing shows up on screen, i tried using the other available display IO including DVI-D and HDMI on both my mobo and GPU.

Any other ideas :S
