I'm trying to do a parallel install of Win2K to get around
a regular install that keeps getting hung up. However I
can't get setup to let me choose which partition to put
the files in. It just keeps repeating the same failed
installation. What can I do?

That's where I started, but setup isn't asking me to enter
or F8 and isn't responding to Esc.

Sounds like your pc is still starting from the fixed disk. Possibly set the
boot order in cmos setup to CD-Rom first in boot sequence. Also look for the
keystroke (if necessary) at POST to force boot from CD-Rom drive or check
your mb/pc manual for instructions. Or boot the setup disks.
