I wanted to install Windows 7 on another HDD so I plugged it into my computer, and unplugged the other HDD's. After starting installation there were errors, so I cleaned my flashdrive and put the CD back onto it (with WinToFlash). There were errors again, so I just quit. I unplugged the HDD and plugged the others back in. It said something about BOOTMGR is missing. I made sure the flashdrive wasn't plugged in.The only way to get past the error was to plug the flashdrive back in. So I am just trying to get back to my normal Hard drive with an OS.

Hi

If you have an original Windows 7 DVD or emergency repair disk (CD or USB)

You can boot up off this disk and let it repair the corrupted boot manager files
(select starup repair)

this link gives a guide
http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-create-a-windows-7-system-repair-disc-for-emergency-use/

if you do not have a Windows 7 DVD handy

The Windows 7 emergency disk should be made on a PC with the same 32 or 64 bit version as your Windows 7 and same service pack level (sp0 or sp1)
(Home, pro or ultimate does not matter)

Since you can boot up your PC you can build it on your PC
