[SOLVED] Cant switch displays

I am having the issue of swapping my primary monitor. I just got a new samsung monitor today and it is set as my primary monitor but anything I open like games comes up on my secondary monitor. I attempted to only use my new monitor which was working fine but when my secondary monitor was plugged in it immediately swapped the primary even though it still said my main monitor was my primary monitor. I have never had this issue before. I am using HDMI to HDMI on my secondary and HDMI into display port on my primary. I had a two monitor setup prior to this and never experienced issues beforehand. When navigating the display settings no matter whichw as the primary, monitor 1 or 2, nothing changed. If anyone has had this problem or knows a fix that would be greatly appreciated.
