[SOLVED] Can't switch SSD from basic data partition to primary partition

Just bought Samsung 870 QVO 2TB SSD to use to install my steam games. Every time I try to install the games I have a disk write error. The thing I noticed about my other SSD's is that they are primary. But this one always comes up as basic data partition. I have tried numerous ways to resolve this but I can't figure out. I am replacing the my current SSD (850 Samsung) so I am at a loss. Has anyone experienced this or have and idea?

This is Disk 0?

First off, you need to give it a drive letter.
Right click - Change Drive letter or path.

Can you simply copy a file to it?

Ok you just gave me an idea and it worked. I copied a couple of steam games into the file. It always allowed me to copy files I just never tried steam. And that allows me to now download games onto it. I am confused as I have never had to do that before, but it worked. Thank you!

Steam games location
In the steam client:
Steam
Settings
Downloads
Steam Library Folders
Add library folder

To move an already installed game
Games library
Right click the game
Properties
Local Files
Move Install Folder

I did that initially to add the steam folder, but came back with the disk write error. I had to manually copy one in there and it solved the problem.
