Question Can't tell if my motherboard scammed me or not

I recently bought this motherboard: https://www.ebay.com/itm/294506141446

And in the item description it tells me that the Xeon E5-2676v3 is compatible with it, so that's what I bought alongside that motherboard. Today I received it and tried putting the CPU into the socket just for the CPU to not fit. I was just wondering if since the motherboard's CPU bracket says "2011-0L", does that mean that the socket is not actually 2011-3 and instead a different socket? The item description clearly states that the motherboard supports LGA2011-3, so..

EDIT: The motherboard's PCB also cleary states that the motherboard is supposed to fit 2011-3 CPUs.

well lga2011 is same no matter its version
mainboard bios (which is closely tied to chipset) dictates which CPUs are supported

so issue might lay elsewhere, did you remove that plastic cover?

Looked it up and almost every result on Google tells me that LGA2011 and LGA2011-3 are not the same sockets.

what google mostly shows (and wiki aswell) are OC socket editions (from 2017 up to 2084pins)

I should've probably uploaded a picture of what it looks like when I try to put the CPU into the motherboard. The notches look like they don't let the CPU fit into the socket. I tried alligning the CPU to match up with the notches on the socket but the CPUs PCB would just not fit.

non china brands like asus/intel/supermicro/etc... would be like $400 new
or here is one used, includes cpu (which can be reselled), it supports xeon haswell -ep you got
