Can't turn on my computer

Hi all!

Earlier today when I was trying to turn on my computer there was no response.....
The lights on the motherboard (Asus p6t-deluxe v2) was turned on so that indicated there was power to the mobo. I turned the power supply off and turned it on again but now the lights on the mobo won't come on anymore....
What might be wrong? Glad if you could help me out

High chance you PSU is dead, and cant deliver the power required for the mobo. The secondary option is that the mobo is dead (a bit unlikely since asus is generally quite resistant).

if you can. google the paper-clip test. this will allow you to at least see if the psu is putting out power.

It's the PSU connector, just make such it click when putting it in. I had the same problem. LOL
