Can't type pass word in note book

I have a Samsung notebook.But it won't let me type .my password or nothing it keeps saying. Hit control-shift space to switch keyboard layout which I be done so it a normal looking keyboard still nothing what am I doing wrong

What model is your notebook?
Are you talking about a touch screen keyboard or the notebook physical keyboard?
Maybe one of the keyboard keys got stuck
Any external keyboard laying around that you could try ?
