I want to keep Win7 on my machines for awhile longer, so I have been uninstalling the Win10 nag screen update on them. All the other machines were good except for my Lenovo E530 Thinkpad w/Win7 Pro. Every time I go to Uninstall Updates and locate KB3035583, uninstall it, reboot, and check to see if it is gone... it isn't. It's automatically back and the installation date appears as the current day.
The uninstall process looks like it is working. It goes thru the uninstalling screen on shutdown and the completing uninstalling screen on boot up. But when I check for installed updates, it is back again. Like it was never uninstalled, but with the current date as the installation date. I never had this problem on my other machines. Any ideas?
