Basically, I had to remove a drive because it was faulty. I had some programs installed on there and I am not able to uninstall them anymore, nor am I able to reinstall them onto my existing hard drive. Anytime I try to uninstall these programs I get an error message saying: Invalid Drive: Z:/.

Solution
This is because Windows doesn't know how to account for the programs installed on the old drive, those programs are not in your current config/registry.

Why not just format the drive and wipe it clean after removing any personal documents you may need? That will remove the programs.

Well there is a registry key you can look in for your applications and if you remove them they get removed from your programs and features list. it would allow you to reinstall the programs but it’s messing with the registry and that could be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing
