Can't unscrew tight vesa screws on ASUS VG248QE monitor

I recently bought the ASUS VG248QE 24 inch monitor and want to set it up for a vesa mount. However I can't unscrew these screws from the existing mount in order to do so. http://imgur.com/sIQXgbT

I was using this screwdriver.

I even tested the screwdriver on these other screws on the current mount it has on, but the actual screws on the current mount even though I think they should accept the same screwdriver.

Yeah I've taken a look but im not sure if using wd 40 would damage the monitor or if using the manual impact driver will cause damage when hitting with a hammer, etc.

Let's see... spraying a cotton swap and dabbing the screws a bit shouldn't cause it to blow up too badly... I don't think.
