can't update anything

So ever since I installed windows 10 I've been having non stop problems. I hoped that if I updated it would solve some of them but I can't update anything. I can't even install new language packs ect. to get cortana to work properly. I don't get any error codes or anything, it just says that it failed.

What could be causing this? Faulty version? Malware?
