Hi,
I have an asus ROG maximus VI formula motherboard and I want to update the bios because i have 2013 ones installed but there are 2014 ones. I have the file and when I try to update, i get a message saying 'Please ensure the Intel management engine interface driver is properly installed before using this tool.' I have this driver installed as it says and it comes up in my drivers. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you can't do that. THIS is how you need to update the BIOS on that board. Even for boards that DON'T have flashback, you can't update the bios like that. Normally, you need to unpack the downloaded BIOS image files to a flash drive, restart the computer, go into the BIOS, start the BIOS update program from within the BIOS and then point it to the new image files. Fortunately, your board has flashback, so you don't need to go through all that.
