Can't update GTX drivers

Guys, whenever I'm trying to update my GPU drivers, it'll say my chrome_elf.dll is missing. Is there any way someone is having the same issue or can help me fix this? You are my last stronghold of hope.

is your default browser Chrome? I can't figure why you would have a chrome error unless nvidia is trying to connect to the internet before installing....I would go to add remove programs and uninstall all nvidia drivers reboot and try a clean install with the new drivers. If that doesn't work for shits and giggles change your default browser to edge or ie and try installing see what happens. Lastly redownload the drivers direct from nvidia, perhaps the download was corrupted.

i believe that is a virus.

I would suggest getting Malewarebytes ( https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/) and doing a scan to check.

After try download again.
