So I've been having a problem where every time I try to update to a new Nvidia driver for my EVGA Geforce GTX 560 (non-ti) past driver version 334.67 which is the one I currently have, it screws up. It's not like I'm downloading unsupported drivers, as I'm putting the right model through the GeForce website and it gives me those drivers, AND Geforce Experience tells me to update those drivers. More specifically, the install starts and everything, and usually when the green bar is around halfway, somewhere around when it says (installing graphics driver) my computer crashes/BSODs. When I boot it back up, first of all, it's stuck in 1280x720 and won't let me put it at 1920x1080. It also BSODs and reboots after around 3 minutes. I usually get the errors, SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION This continues, restarting, lasting 3 minutes, and crashing till after it does it several times it puts me to that troubleshooting page that lets me system restore, which I do, and it brings me to my old driver version where everything works. Another odd thing I found is when I bring up DxDiag, (in that 3 minute timeframe with the new driver) my graphics card doesn't seem to be recognized/disappeared, as seen in this picture. http://puu.sh/awlCU/d7eae742ad.png. Also, when I download the Dxdiag information (in the 3 minute timeframe), when I look at it, it's filled with NULL NULL NULL NULL etc. Also, I'm using Windows 8.1 and here are my specs:

OS: Windows 8 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (4GB x 2) @ 666MHz
Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
Graphics: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
Audio Card: ASUS Xonar DG 5.1
Power Supply: Corsair TX750M
Hard Drives: 2TB Seagate HDD
Optical Drive: ATAPI iHAS124 B SCSI CDROM Device
Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout 2 Midnight Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower
Mouse: Razer Deathadder 2013
Mouse Pad: SteelSeries QcK
Monitor: Toshiba 40" 120Hz LCD HDTV
Headphones: Sennheiser 558

THINGS I HAVE TRIED
Checking "do a clean installation" when in the Nvidia driver installer

Using the Nvidia driver wiper to completely wipe drivers from my computer and then installing driver

I've also been told by another person to install the drivers that came in a CD with the graphics card, and then installing the drivers from there, but I can't find that CD for the love of god. So I can't really take that path.

Here's my Dxdiag information (with my current, working drivers of course)

I'm really desperate for a solution here, so if you could find out wrong, that would be wonderful.

Solution
Try using the driver wiper to wipe the drivers and then uninstall the GeForce experience application. Then go into device manager, find your GPU card under display adapters and right click on it and select uninstall and check uninstall drivers when prompted. Reboot and install this driver. Actually, you might want to download this driver first so you have it in place for installation already afterwards.
