Hello! I am trying to update Windows 10 64bit to Windows 10 1511. But it wont work I have tried everything. I have restarted, Run the Trouble shooter, did a manual trouble shoot, Renamed and deleted SoftwareDistribution, but it just keeps pulling up the same message over and over after Downloading the whole update and getting stuck somewhere in the Installation.

I can't figure it out, I have seen something about disabling Defer Updates but it doesnt work at all. This is becoming more and more frustrating. If you have any knowledge on this please help! Thanks. I am running a legit version of Windows on my Boot SSD that only has a few games and programs on it.

Sorry for the late answer and reviving an old thread. I had the same problem. I have an SSD to boot Windows but I moved the Users folder to a normal HDD (and created a directory junction on the SSD of course). After I reinstalled Windows on my computer (to upgrade to the new version) I found out that the Users profile being on another HDD could be the problem and thus, lead to errors when doing Windows upgrades (not updates, UPGRADES (Ex. Vista to 7). So lucky for me to have found out after I reinstalled. If you have some sort of set up like that, then I would suggest moving all that back to the SSD, do the upgrade, and then move all the stuff back to the HDD.

Yes, Thank you for you late answer. I actually did figure it out. You were right. As it turned out, there was a problem with my recent install of Windows 10. I was forced to reinstall Windows because I didn't even have a Recovery Partition. It worked fine. I can now update my PC as needed.
