Hi I have windows 10 latest Build everything. Desktop computer custom build I can't seem to update My chipset drivers to the latest 2017 drivers this is the Cpu that I have Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz I have a gigabyte z77xud5h Motherboard. It says you have sucessfuly installed the following products Intel chipset device softwareHow ever when I go into the device manager the older driver date and version for all of the pci chipsets is 10/3/2016 and ther driver version is 10.1.1.38 I exited my vpn thinking that maybe blocking something but it's not I have no software firewall either. I have the windows firewall turned off. How can I get windows to recognize the new chipset driver version and date in the device manager???

Thanks tons

Get the drivers from the manufacturer site not some 3rd party site like that. Even if there are officially 'newer' drivers for a specific chipset there may be other reasons like BIOS support that make them not compatible with a certain board.
