Can't use my second PCI-Express 1x Slot

Hi everyone, I have an Asus X99 Pro mobo and I am trying to plug my sound card on the second PCI-E1x slot, but the problem is: The system do not recognize it. It only does when I plug on the first slot, which is preventing me to have an SLI with my graphics cards because of the spaces.

I can do the SLI if I want, but I won't be able to use my sound card. And that's very bad..

I've read somewhere that in certain systems I can only use a second PCI slot if the first one is being used. If its true, is there a workaround for this?

Your GPU's should be in x16_1 and x16_3
Put the soundcard in x16_2 (or _4 if you are NOT using an M.2 drive)
both x1 slots should be covered/blocked by a 2 slot gpu...

Yeah today I just discovered that I can use the PCI-Ex16 to plug a PCI-E1x!
