Greetings!
I got this tablet from a buddy from Germany: TrekStor surfTab wintron 10.1 (see pictures for full name & number)
The USB was somehow disabled when I got it. In a moment of brain-leaving-the-head, I decided to restore windows 10 before fixing the USB problem.
So I got to the first screen to find that the touch screen stopped working (see picture). With no obvious way into the bios, and no USB, it looks like my only hope is to either reset the bios, or flash it somehow. I don't know if the SD reader serves that function, and I see no bios reset or cmos battery (main battery disconnect does not reset anything).
The mobo numbers are pictured. I've googled, but the most promising sites I've found just seem sketchy (or in German); not something I'd be willing to brick my new tablet over. Some suggest shorting a pin on one of the chips, but I really want to be darn sure before I try doing that.
