LATEST DRIVERS 16/12/2019
Long story short, this monitor was working perfectly on my old PC.
I was previously using a GTX 970 and switched to a RX 580 (going for big navi later) as VRAM was becoming an issue.
The monitor I'm using is a LG W2363D, which is 120Hz via HDMI (1080P OF COURSE) & no DL DVI cable.
On the display adaptor properties, there was never a 120hz option as a drop down, so I previously had to go into Nvidia control panel to make a manual custom resolution.
Now I do the same in the AMD software, after clicking the create/save resolution button, my monitor will go black for a few seconds but have NOTHING change.
The saved custom profile will be there but won't be activated.
If there was a 120Hz option in the drop down menu this wouldn't be a problem... but it is
(If this extra info helps) I used my brother's GPU (1070 Ti) and changing refresh rate is a breeze so I assume its something to do with AMD software
This monitor also used to be my primary, now it is my secondary, changing refresh rate on the primary also works easily, even when switching which one is primary my problems still reside
My main monitor is a ASUS VG248QE if that helps
Any help/tips would be appreciated. Thanks
