Can't watch videos or download files on certain sites

for some reason I can't watch videos on certain websites and neither can i download certain files, for instance when i go to this mod site called nexusmods.com I can't download anything and when i try to watch shows on different sites i can't yet i can watch youtube, can anyone help me fix this please? this happened 2 months ago

ye everything is up to date, actually this has happened to me before and my uncle let me use some type of blue disc that fixed my laptop but i forgot the name of the disc
