[SOLVED] canvio hard drive 500gb

it hust stopped working.. i mean the light used to blink when computer would read it, then it would show up... Now it goes from purple to white and just wont show up... ive had it for almost 6months and it has ALLLLL MY 5YEARS OF WORK ON IT!!!!! PLEASE HELP .

try reconnecting you cables to make sure they are firm seated....heat can cause them to crawl out of there socket...

also in device manager is it showing up?

Its not showing up anywhere... and honestly im starting to think its the connection... i just want my work so i can get it off the thing

let me know if that works...if not your drive is most likely dead...though if you really need the info you can get it recovered....but i warn you its expensive.
