HI
First time forum user, so really appreciate the help.
I have a Dell Inspiron PC with a startup issue. The PC runs fine once started but, after powering off, will not restart unless the power is switched off at the wall and I hold the start button in for a while. Sometimes after power off, and turning off at wall, the fan tries to whirr as I press in the button.
I'm guessing this is a capacitor issue?
I'm not one for a soldering iron, so is it most likely to be a capacitor inside the pwer supply (new power supply) or on the motherboard (new motherboard)?
Finally, anyone in the UK that can recommend somewhere to get it fixed? I'm in Buckinghamshire.
Thanks again for the expertise!
