Capacitor replacement

Can replacing powerboard capacitors on a monitor improve the color depth and saturation?
I have two ViewSonic VP930b's. I replaced the power capacitors one one of them and the picture appears to be deeper and more intense color than the other.
Is this possible or am I just dreaming.
