Caps Lock causing audio output to switch

This has only happened since Win10 was installed and I know there's a quick-select audio output at the bottom right speaker, if you left click, then click the arrow at the top.

For some reason when I hit capslock I get the same effect. It's driving me nuts. As I play games and accidentally hit caps, my audio output changes, my voice chat gets screwed up, my music stops, and it totally interrupts my game. I've tried disabling all other audio output devices thru windows. That seemed to make it worse and the PC switches from my G430 headset to 'no audio output devices detected' for a brief moment before switching back.... but my music stops, voice chat freezes, etc.

This does not always happen and some days caps lock has no effect on the audio output. Lately it's been non stop and worse than ever. I must have tried to fix it and changed something to make it more sensitive/worse.

I have a Logitech G710 keyboard, and I have not programmed a single thing. I checked and do not see a caps lock key mapping. I don't think it's that. I'm also using a Logitech G430 headset.

Hardware is Athlon FX 6300 on a this mobo....
ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+/AM3 AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I'd REALLY appreciate a fix!
