I am not sure if it is my keyboard or Windows (Do not have another keyboard to test). I have a noppo choc mini brown switches. A couple times a day when I am using mumble/vent (Been using caps lock as push to talk for like 7 years and cant get use to another key) to talk to friends my computer monitor will go black and wait for me to press a key and will lead me to the windows login/password menu. This has been happening for a while but recently just got annoyed with it. I am wondering if there is something I can fix in Windows or something.

Thank you for the help

Sounds like an electrical fault with the keyboard to be honest, when you press a key it sends a binary number to the pc. it sounds like that number is being corrupted/mistransmited due to electrical fault and is changing from the capslock to the sleep command.

go to Start->Control Panel->Power Options->Choose what the power buttons do, and turn off the sleep button. should work around the issue?
