Car audio usb

Hi all,i have a jvc kdr436 car radio with usb but when i place a usb drive with mp3 music it shows loading and then it shows cannot play,does anyone have a way to fix it,the manual states it supports mp3 and wma files.

Are the mp3 files encoded with fixed bit rate? I know some car audio players may have trouble playing certain type of encoded mp3 files.

Try with smallest USB drive you have, like 4/8GB. Try with just a handful of MP3 files with fixed 128k bitrate in the root folder. Then scale wide (adding folders), and up (larger USB drive)

On top of that format stick as FAT.


And u thought this was going to be plug&play. ^)
