This may be a wild goose chase, but here goes:
Several years ago (maybe as much as 10) I remember messing around with a car design simulation that my high-school shop teacher had on his computer. You could install different engines, etc. and built street cars from scratch. Then you'd send them to the track and you get a set of results on how the car performed.
Has anyone ever seen anything remotely like this?
Has anyone ever played a driving simulation that was more design-based and less about racing?
