Car navigation system touch screen..

I've removed a working touch screen navigation system from my car. It works fine and I was wondering if there is anyway to just remove the touch screen to use it. Could be a really dumb question but I'm not sure

- you have removed (factory-installed) navigation system from car
- and you are asking whether it will work if you remove what?

It sounds like you wish to use this touchscreen in some different application, outside the original car?

This would involve a whole lot of investigation. There is no standard interface for those...they are each very proprietary.
Which pin does what, at what voltage, what polling rate, etc, etc, etc.
