Question Card not recognized in Display adapter

My brand new 5600xt is not being reconized in the display adapter section of the device manager page, instead having something called microsoft basic display setting. Internet tells me that this is why my resolution is trash, and why it doesnt give me other resolution options. Furthermore it also tells me, that either the card is faulty, or, if it correctly plugged in and recognized in the BIOS, then it should only be a matter of downloading latest drivers.

My PSU has two identical looking connectors called 6+2PCI-e and 4+4CPU. I put the GPU cable in a random one of them since they are the same. Could it be that there's only one correct one? Or should that be the last thing I do before I try other stuff?

read the manual on how to use your psu.
and pcie need to be in the pcie power. they are label because it matter

Clarification please or picture. Just don't use the CPU 4x4 in you Graphics card.
