Cardbus Internet Dongle

I have no internet connection in my temporary house, no modem no router no nothing. My laptop does have wireless capabilities; but only for WLAN. I would like an internet dongle so I can connect to the internet anywhere. I have a Cardbus port on my IBM Thinkpad and I want to make use for it, rather than use a USB. Is this possible? I know that Cardbus technology is a bit aged really compared to USB, but it would be nice too see if there is any possibility to use my unloved Cardbus port.

I bought two of these a couple of years ago , they are wireless N refurbished .

Will this let me connect to the internet without having to have a WLAN of my own? That just seems like a wireless adapter which my laptop already has.

It's an N adapter only , sorry i misread your original post.
