Cards that support 4k

okay so this is my setup
CPU - FX 6300 OC
RAM- 16gb DDR3
mobo- MSI 970 gaming
PSU- 750w EVGA bronze
GPU- 1060 GTX 3gb

so i was trying to run the card on my new 40" 4k TV and my card failed... Had to send it off for repair but anyways. What cards AMD and GTX series support 4k.

Support 4k resolutions? All of them. The 3GB version of the 1060 is doubly handicapped by the 3GB VRAM though.

Don't expect high frame rates and high detail settings though. Not in any newer, demanding games. You need a very high end system for 4k. Even an i7/ GTX 1080 can't deliver 60 FPS with high settings.

your setup is barely adequate for 1080p
