Carver sw150p subwoofer does not respond

Hello,
I hooked up my Harman Kardon HK3390 receiver with 2 rca subwoofer jacks out to the input rca jacks of my subwoofer, but the subwoofer does not pick up the signal, can somebody help..is the subwoofer broken...is it my receiver...is it hooked up correctly?

There are 2 on-off switches next to the sub outs on your HK. Check that they are in the correct position. You also may not need two rca connections. Check your owners manual. You can also try connecting to the preouts. Check the level control on the sub as well.
