CAS and Venice

Hi All

OK Do I put a)1gig of corsair XMS 3200LL (512mb x1 256mb x2)
or b)2gig of samsung 3200 cas3 (512mb x4)

In my new system (see below) which one of the above would be best. I'm gaming alot mainly BF2 and a bit of UT2004.

Will the Samsung most likely go to CAS 2.5??

PS money is not the issue with the above as I have all the ram already.

AMD 3500 venice (will try a non heavy OC)
Epox 9NPA mobo
RAM ??????
7800GTX
500W FSP blue storm
Stacker case
Audigy 2 ZS
ViewSonic VP191b (great in BF2)

Best to stick with option b - you won't get dual channel with a. Th eissue with b is that you will more than likely have to set command at 2T and loosen timings to get stability at 200Mhz. The best option is 1GB (2X512) or 2GB (2X1024MB) for 1T with tighter timings.
