CAS Latency 7 and 9

2x4gb ram 1600 CAS 9 vs 2x4gb ram 1600 CAS 7 Is there a huge difference ?

The CL 7 set will perform better and can prob be easily OCed to 2133 if desired and if decent sticks, the higher freq would also provide more bandwidth. What make/model of DRAM are you looking at

Yep, I'd go the 1600/7, the CPU will carry 1866 and might carry 2133 so the DRAM would be a good pick, if you can find 1866/8 or 9 I'd go with that

Thank you good sir. I was having second thoughts because of the price difference and wasn't sure if there was any huge difference between the two.
